Ciarrocchi Law’s founder, Stephen R. Ciarrocchi, Esquire is a life-long Delaware County resident. He graduated from Garnet Valley High School with honors before attending Penn State University, where he was accepted into the prestigious Schreyer Honors College. Majoring in Finance at Penn State, Mr. Ciarrocchi started his professional career in the business world, working for EY, one of the Big Four accounting firms. Starting his career working in finance and accounting has had long reaching benefits into his law career, specifically in family law for his divorce and support clients as he is able to analyze financial documents and explain the often- complex financial situations surrounding these matters in ways that are easy to understand. After his experience in the business world, Mr. Ciarrocchi realized that a career in the legal field was the best place for him and he was accepted to the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, one of the top trial schools in the entire country.

During and immediately after law school, Mr. Ciarrocchi worked for the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office in their Pre-Trial Unit, being responsible to handle a multitude of cases at the preliminary hearing level, ranging from DUI and low-level drug offenses all the way to attempted homicide. Upon leaving the District Attorney’s office, Mr. Ciarrocchi worked in private practice, focusing on criminal defense and family law. Having made a name for himself in the Delaware County legal community while in private practice, Mr. Ciarrocchi was recruited to the Delaware County Public Defender’s Office to be in their Major Felony Unit. While a part of the Major Felony Unit, Mr. Ciarrocchi was able to obtain favorable results for clients that were charged with the most serious offenses imaginable, including Not Guilty verdicts at trial and decisions in pre-trial motions to end the case in the client’s favor before it even began as well as negotiated and non-negotiated pleas with which his clients were extremely satisfied.
