    Heather R. Profitt became a paralegal in 2002 after obtaining her degree in Paralegal Studies. She graduated summa cum laude from Neumann University, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and went on to pursue her Master’s Degree in Psychology. In addition to her degrees, Heather has more than 20 years of experience in the field of family law and is also a Notary Public. Heather completed mediation training and is certified to assist parties in resolving their family law matters without the need for costly litigation. Her vast experience enables her to reach amicable, mutually beneficial settlements. Heather is also a member of the Delaware County Paralegal Association and the Statewide Paralegal Association, Keystone Alliance. During her membership with the Delaware County Paralegal Association, Heather has taken a very active role in the Association’s function and administration. She served on the Association’s Board of Directors. In addition to her service on the Association’s Board of Directors, Heather was elected Membership Chairperson in 2015. Furthermore, Heather has been listed as a contributing author to the Delaware County Paralegal Express Newsletter, writing various articles on the subject of family law. She was elected to a panel serving as guest lecturers to the Delaware County Community College Paralegal Studies Program on the subject of divorce and family law. Heather also lectured to paralegal students at a seminar titled, “What I Wish I Knew”, which provided these students with useful information that is not typically taught in the classroom.
